Yes, we have our corruption in government, but, so does everyone else. We are no better, or worse, than any other country. Our government does not define us, it is the people within our country who define who we are as a nation. Unfortunately, you will probably never meet most of them, because unlike the wealthy, the most giving and most caring people, are sometimes the poorest.
I think people have a lot of preconceived notions about one another and that prevents them from really reaching out and getting involved with others. A lot of what we think we know comes from tv, our families, past experiences, and "society's" views. None of this propaganda should be thrust upon any person. Meet a person and see who they truly are, prior to making any decisions about their character. Judge not, lest ye be judged.
